To stop the surge in Chinese imports of furniture, an industry group of 28 U.S. furniture manufacturers has asked the U.S. government to impose high import duties on bedroom furniture made in China, accusing Chinese furniture makers of unreasonably low prices for wardrobes, beds and bedside cabinets.
