After UAVs are added, these problems can be effectively alleviated. However, Pan Yifeng said that the UAV + power grid actually has three stages of development:


The first stage is manual control. Power grid enterprises bought UAVs, allowing operators to post posts after textual research. This just reduces the difficulty of patrolling. People take UAVs to the front line without climbing the tower, but the data analysis needs to be manual.

The second stage: automation stage. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with RTK high-precision positioning technology can achieve automatic driving, followed by AI auxiliary analysis data, to a certain extent, liberated more manpower. However, in fact, this stage only improves the efficiency of inspection, because the UAV communication and data samples are insufficient to achieve the desired automation, or the need for human operations and maintenance assistance.

The third stage: the unmanned stage. UAV with 5G+RTK, can achieve full automation inspection. At this time, people do not have to go to the scene, as long as the deployment of automatic airport stops. UAV automatically inspecting, sending data back in real time, automatically returning to the nest and charging automatically. It can achieve remote scheduling unmanned.


It is reported that the multi-rotor UAV overhead transmission line automatic patrol scheme is based on RTK high-precision positioning UAV, which is now in the second stage, is moving towards the third stage. Based on the laser point cloud data of transmission lines and the characteristics of fine patrol and channel patrol of overhead transmission lines, a set of UAV application scheme covering data acquisition, data processing, data analysis and application results is formulated.
